Flood Control Corruption
What if each sketch is one mechanism of corruption?
An interactive glitch series exploring stolen infrastructure, borrowed futures, and disasters that reveal what bureaucracy hides. Created with p5.js, emphasizing interactivity and dynamic storytelling.
The integrated infrastructure bridges three bodies of work: The Gold Diet, Flood Control Corruption, and Tastes Like Metal : Spits Gold. Together they move from appetite, to machinery, to aftermath—and finally to the body forced to survive it.
The Gold Diet
Greed has a shape. Wealth has a taste. A paper-cut bust consumes gold while the conveyor keeps moving.
Ghost Projects / Borrowed Billions
Projects that were never completed, or barely functional.
Chains of Debt
Broken chains and reactive particles represent the debt burden imposed on future generations.
The Crowd Pays
Crowds of pixelated heads and voices show the human cost of corruption.
After the Flood
A quiet, degraded representation of aftermath: calm, but scarred.
Put the first ugly lines on paper. An act of desperate necessity.
Once the piece exists, everything else will collapse naturally into place—letting the machine take over now.
Tastes Like Metal : Spits Gold
The system tried to eat me. I bit back. Eight survival-glitch units process pressure, injury, bureaucracy, performance and the demand to turn trauma into value.
Command Grid / Board Master Map
The curatorial diagrams preserve the original board logic: appetite, debt, public cost, aftermath, resistance and survival wired as one system.
